When a filmmaker submits to the United Film Festival, they are eligible for all 6 festivals. Although we have simplified the process and done away with all of our deadlines, we still distinguish between TWO SEPARATE SEASONS within the calendar year – 3 festivals in the SPRING SEASON, and 3 festivals in the FALL SEASON.

*If you enter BEFORE February 15th in the calendar year, you will be eligible for the Spring and Fall Season in that same year.
*If you enter AFTER February 15^th and BEFORE July 5th in the calendar year, you will be eligible for the Fall Season in that same year and the Spring Season in the following year.
*If you enter AFTER July 5th in the calendar year, you will be eligible for both the Spring and Fall Season in the following year.

Our Screenwriting Contest allows us to offer even more opportunities to both short and feature screenwriters in Comedy, Drama, and Horror/Thriller categories.
