2012 United Screenwriting Contest
Our second annual Screenwriting Contest is now open for submissions. After 9 years of running successful film festivals in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Tulsa, Chicago, New York & London we've decided to build in a forum solely for screenwriters.
Over the years we've been able to build an extensive network of filmmakers but we wanted to go one step further and cater to those who often get overlooked in the world of film production - "the screenwriter".
We believe over time we'll be able to open more doors for screenwriters as we recently have for filmmakers in the way of distribution.
All 6 winners will be receiving some great prizes and will be honored at our Awards Night of the Los Angeles United Film Festival 2012.
Script Coverage
Submitters have the option to include Script Coverage, which is designed to give screenwriters valuable insight from our readers in the following categories: Originality, Story Structure, Characterization, Dialogue, Mechanics, and Overall Score.
Coverage will be received at the end of each festival season.
